The Punkles

The Punkles are a band that performs songs by The Beatles in punk style. They toured in October 2005 with Beatallica, and they already have another Tour scheduled for 2006 also with Beatallica.
Unlike Betallica they perform the Beatles songs "as they are", they sing the same lyrics, and play the cover versions as the originals, just a "little" more fast and with a punk feeling.
The Punkles formed in 1998 and released various albums. They are quite successful in Europe and Japan where their best of cd, as well as their latest album "Pistol", entered the top 50 album charts. the band consists of Joey Lennon (guitar/vocals), Sid McCartney (bass), Captain O´Harrison (lead guitar) and Markey Starkey (drums).
