The Progress is a rock band from Cherry Hill, New Jersey. Currently on the Negative Progression label, they are promoting their latest full-album release, Merit, after touring the eastern half of the United States.

After meeting in 1994 the four formed the band in 2000. Releasing their first EP on Maroon Set Records they began touring and promoting the release. Next, came their second EP, Golden State, on Watch the City Burn Records. After finishing a tour venturing as far as Texas, they recorded their current release, Merit.
