The Privilege of Youth, published in 2004, is the fourth installment in Dave Pelzer's series of autobiography. This describes the missing chapter of his life: Adolescence. The book tells how he settled in a small community after being adopted, made some of his best friends, and eventually had to leave when he reached the age of 18.
