The Princeton University Roaring 20, also known as R20, is a co-ed a cappella singing group founded in 1983 at Princeton University. The student-directed and student-managed group performs vocal music ranging from jazz and close harmony to pop songs and show tunes, nearly all of it arranged by current and former group members.
The group performs weekly on the Princeton campus and tours extensively, both on local weekend trips and on longer excursions nationally and globally. They have recently sung in the U.S. Virgin Islands, Dominican Republic, Los Angeles, Oregon, Salt Lake City, Boston, Paris, Montreal, and Italy. The group has performed for a wide variety of audiences in venues ranging from urban street corners to the Princeton Club of New York City. Recent media appearances include singing on The Price Is Right, being guests of The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, and being featured in a nationally broadcast Korean documentary on the Ivy Leagues.
