[edit] Trivia
- The episode title is a play on words to the Charmed series main stars The Power of Three.
- Another title used by The WB in advertisements for this episode was Dirty Blondes.
- The Stillman sisters are referred to as evil witches. They should be referred to as Warlocks as that is what evil witches are in the series, although in the season two episode That Old Black Magic, the villain, Tuatha, is referred to as an evil witch, instead of warlock.
- Chris admits to Piper that he's known her a long time.
- Actress Niki Botelho reprises her role as the Elf Nanny in this episode.
- The Triquetra does not just split into three ovals once the girls lose the Power of Three in this episode, such as in the episode Power Outage. This time, the Triquetra splits and disappears from the book altogether.
- The Book of Shadows protects itself from evil, and after the indentities were switched by the evil Stillman sisters, when Phoebe and Paige tried to get the book it moved away from them.
- In the episode Coyote Piper Leo is able to tell that the person posing as Piper wasn't the true Piper within a matter of seconds. He did not possess this ability in this episode most likely since they didn't kiss, which was how he recognized the fraud.
- The spell to call for a witch's power, which the blondes used first requires the victims to drink a special potion as was seen in How to Make a Quilt Out of Americans, but the potion wasn't used here at all. Also, when Cryto stole the Charmed Ones' power, he only stole their powers he didn't "de-witch" them. They were still immune to the freezing - yet, in this episode the spell completely drained them of their witch status. This seems to be confused with the spell to disempower a witch which was used in That Old Black Magic and A Witch in Time.
- The reason the girls froze was because they had their identities stolen. Being a witch is part of their identity, thus when they didn't have that identity they could be frozen.
- In the moment that the Stillman sisters steal the Book of Shadows, Paige could easily took it back by calling for it, the same thing could be done in the episode A Witch in Time.
- In this episode, the powers of the witches are stolen. However, because Paige is half-whitelighter, only her witch half was affected. She could still orb.
