The Pleasure Seekers

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Pleasure Seekers is a 1964 20th Century Fox motion picture starring Ann-Margret, Anthony Franciosa, and Carol Lynley, with Gardner McKay, Pamela Tiffin, and Gene Tierney.

It was adapted for the screen by Edith R. Sommer, based on the novel by John H. Secondari, and was directed by Jean Negulesco.

The Pleasure Seekers was also the name of a 1960's-era girls-only garage band from Detroit. Perhaps their most famous song is What a Way to Die, featured in the cult film Blood Orgy of the Leather Girls. The band recorded only a single 45, but bassist Suzi Quatro hit the top of the pops in the late 70s with her band Cradle.
