The Pink Panther 2 (2008 film)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
MGM has announced the production of a sequel to the 2006 box office hit The Pink Panther. In the new film, Inspector Clouseau must team up with equally bumbling detectives from other European countries to fight a continent-wide crime wave.[1]
Steve Martin, who will reprise his role as Insp. Jacques Clouseau, has polished the script written by Neustadter and Weber and delivered it to MGM. Production is scheduled to begin in February 2007, and the film is due for release sometime in 2008.[1]
Beyonce Knowles has turned down an offer to reprise her role as pop singer Xania, but rumors have claimed that either Rachel Stevens[2] or Emma Bunton[3] may be in the running to replace Beyonce as the female lead for the new film.
