The Pilgrims of Rayne is the eighth book in D.J. Machale's Pendragon book series. The book takes place after The Quillan Games and the release date is May 8, 2007, as announced by McHale on his forums (He changed to release date about a week ago). On October 17th, DJ announced the title to be "The Pilgrims of Rayne" on thependragonadventure.com. Originally entitled, "Pendragon the Great," DJ stated that it no longer fit the book.
Early hints appear to put the plot as revolving around Third Earth, but no one setting for the entire book has yet been confirmed.
On The Guide to the Territories of Halla's last page, the Territories are listed in "order". So far the books have corresponded to this "order", and, taken as fact, Ibara is the supposed setting of "The Pilgrims of Rayne".
On thependragonadventure.com, it was stated that "DJ has [allegedly] said that the book will not take place on only one territory, but multiple ones"[1]
Because "The Pilgrims of Rayne" will allegedly take place on multiple territories, the most likely territories that the book will take place on are, 3rd Earth (Confirmed, Bobby and Courtney are traveling there at the end of the seventh book) , 1st Earth (Mark might be located in the past, or in other words, on First Earth,) , and Ibara (Nevva decides to become the traveler of Ibara, it is unknown where Saint Dane is going.). Most of the other territories have passed their turning points, but there is a chance that because the fall of Quillan affected these territories. Other territories that have been saved may be seen.
