The Pasties

The Pasties ARE a folky punk band from Olmypia, Washington, that incorporates banjo, fiddle, trumpet and accordian with guitar, bass and drums to create an orchestral army. Since the band's formation in 2006, they have toured irrepressively, lately with a giant banana snake.

The Pasties have released two CDs (self-titled and "Bikes Are Sexy") and a 7" record. Their music is featured in the Starz Denver Film Festival award-winning documentary "Kurt Cobain: About A Son" (2006).

The Pasties were a popular NYC-based Power Pop band that featured Sam Endicott, who went on to form The Bravery. The Pasties had music featured on MTV's Real World and Road Rules, and their song "Happy 4R Friends" ended the Gauntlet season of the show. The band also included members Mike Jacobs and Devon Copley, who went on to form Evil Jake and The Animators, respectively.
