"The Partisan" is a song about the French Resistance in World War II. The song was written in 1943 in London by Anna Marly and Emmanuel d'Astier de la Vigerie. It has been adapted and covered by diverse artists, including Leonard Cohen, Joan Baez, 16 Horsepower, Red Union, Branimir Štulić and Electrelane.
