An astronaut orbiting the Earth disappears from the radar screen and lands in a world like his own except in a few minor details, such as his exact military rank and the name of the American president. While attempting to identify his space capsule more closely, he suddenly finds himself in orbit again.

In 1963 a man filed suit alleging that Serling had stolen the idea for this episode from him. On his attorney's advice, Serling settled the matter out of court for $6500.
