The Orchestra at Temple Square

The Orchestra at Temple Square is an all-volunteer, 110-member symphony orchestra organized in 1999 by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints to serve as a companion to The Mormon Tabernacle Choir. The Orchestra has often appeared with the Choir on its weekly broadcast Music and the Spoken Word, recorded several projects with the Choir on the Telarc and Mormon Tabernacle Choir labels, and separately performs its own concert season. Conductors for the Orchestra have included Barlow Bradford (1999-2003) and Igor Gruppman (2004- ).
