"The One With the Baby Shower" is the twentieth episode of the eighth season of Friends.

During this episode Rachel's baby shower is thrown. It starts off with Monica calling Rachel's mom to invite her, because she has previously forgotten to. Throughout the baby shower Rachel's mom is mad at Monica, and Monica keeps trying to suck up to her. A fun side plot of this episode is Ross and Chandler helping Joey prepare for an audition to host the new game show, "Bamboozled!" Ross and Chandler play the contestants. Ross enjoys it at first, while Chandler thinks it's dumb because of the "Wicked Wango Cards," "Google Cards," and the "Wheel of Mayhem." Chandler gets into the game when a card comes up that gives all of Ross' points to him. They continue to play until Ross "Bamboozles" Chandler to win the game, and Chandler yells, "This is the best game ever!"

During the baby shower Rachel's mom offers to live with her for the first eight weeks after the baby is born. Rachel claims that she can take care of it, but changes her mind when she does not know what any of the baby shower presents do. Ross later talks her mom out of moving in with them by telling her that he has another son and knows how to take care of babies.
