The One with All the Rugby

"The One With All the Rugby" is the fifteenth episode of season four of the television situation comedy Friends.

In the opening teaser, Chandler and Rachel find themselves at a beauty parlor, getting a manicure and a pedicure, respectively. Chandler seems to be among friends: their mailman is here, and so is—"Oh my Gawd!!"—Janice. She has just gotten a divorce, and Chandler, who has never been able to resist her, finds himself on a date with her. To stave her off, he decides that his company is transferring him to Yemen: "15 Yemen Road, Yemen." Unfortunately, Janice is so intent on spending every last moment with him she can that he is forced to pack his belongings, buy a plane ticket and actually go.

Monica, who is currently living in Joey and Chandler's apartment with Rachel (a switch orchestrated in The One With the Embryos), discovers a light switch that does not appear to turn anything on or off. Monica being the obsessive-compulsive person she is, refuses to rest until she can figure out what the switch is connected to, culminating in her knocking holes in the apartment wall. Over the credits, the switch is revealed to be connected to the electric socket powering the television. ...in Monica's apartment.

Finally, Emily and Ross, returning from a date, run into some of Emily's British friends. They invite Ross to join in a rugby game the next day, which Ross and out of jealousy for Emily's former boyfriend Liam, one of the rugby players, decides, incorrectly, that he is masculine enough to attempt to play. Joey and Phoebe think he should bow out, but Emily tells him about opposing players' weak spots and then goes 'Red Ross', a rather mad version of himself, he rules the day and wins the admiration of the girl—at the cost of a few broken bones.
