The Old Ride School
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Old Ride School (previously called The Old Ride Preparatory School) was an independent school at Bradford on Avon, Wiltshire.
The school was based in Frankleigh House, a substantial seventeenth century country house on the northern outskirts of Bradford on Avon. Originally a preparatory school for boys only, girls were admitted in 1982, and in the late 1980s the school began to specialize in disadvantaged and problem children.
The school closed in 1990 when attendance figures dropped dramatically, following adverse inspection reports.
