The Old Boot

The Old Boot is a comic sketch on Tim Shaw's Asylum on Kerrang! 105.2 radio every night between 10:00pm and 1:00am Sunday to Thursday. The way the sketch works is by Tim phoning a randomly selected person and playing pre-recorded tapes of an old lady saying certain phrases. The people on the other end of the phone generally take a sympathetic view to the old boot as she seems to be mad, in fact one of her phrases is "I'm mad!". However, it is not uncommon for the people on the other end of the phone to get angry or irate. Tim operates a similar sketch with The Little Boot and The Evil Boot. Tim also plays The Old Boot's phrases over certain music tracks.
