The Night We Called It a Day (2003) is an Australian film starring Dennis Hopper, Melanie Griffith, Portia de Rossi, Joel Edgerton, Rose Byrne, and David Hemmings. It is based on the true events surrounding the tour of Frank Sinatra (played by Hopper) in Australia. When Sinatra calls a local reporter (Rossi) a "two-bit hooker", every union in the country black-bans the star until he issues an apology.
