"The New Wave" was the first single released by French house duo Daft Punk in 1994 on the Soma Recordings label. Though it was originally a standalone single, the track "The New Wave" eventually evolved into "Alive" (evidenced in the tracklisting), which appeared in Homework. The single is currently rare and hard to obtain.
