The New Shmoo is a 1979 NBC cartoon about a bunch of teenagers (Mickey, Nita & Billy Jo) who solve mysteries and crimes with their friend, a Shmoo. The teens worked for Mighty Mysteries Comics. It is a lot like Scooby Doo. It can sometimes be seen in reruns.
On the NBC run, there was a short segment called "Sing Along With The Shmoo", where the Shmoo acted like a bouncing ball.
