The New Gidget was a television series that ran from 1986 to 1988. The series was produced by original Gidget series producer Harry Ackerman.
Based on the original television series, Gidget, from the 1960s, it featured Caryn Richman as Gidget now married to "Moondoggie" played by Dean Butler.
