The Mountain (TV series)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Mountain was a television series that aired on the WB television network for one season, from 2004–2005. It was created and produced by McG, and executive produced by (among others) Shaun Cassidy.
The plot surrounded a ski resort run by Will Carver (played by Anson Mount). When his grandfather dies, Carver discovers that the resort has been left to his younger brother David (played by Oliver Hudson), an irresponsible layabout who returns to pick up the reins. There is familial conflict over the resort and over Maria (played by Alana de la Garza), the beautiful woman who previously dated David, but then dates Will. Additional conflict comes from the efforts of land developer Colin Dowling (played by Mitch Pileggi) and his attractive daughter, Max (played by Elizabeth Bogush), who falls for David.
The show received very low ratings and was cancelled after only twelve episodes.
