The Mind's I is an album by Dark Tranquillity, released in 1996. After The Gallery, Dark Tranquillity stopped using old English language and personal themes in their lyrics. The Mind's I is the first album coming with this change. Meta-physical subjects are held but still deeper in meaning. Also, the band's creativity and musical development drives the album forward. The tracks Hedon, Scythe, Rage And Roses, Insanity's Crescendo and Tidal Tantrum are considered some of the strongest tracks on this album.
In 2005 Century Media re-released The Mind's I with new layouts, the three-song Enter Suicidal Angels EP and two live videos.
