The Midwest Clinic

The Midwest Clinic is an international band and orchestra conference held annually since 1946. It is the premier event for music educators and performers each year. Held in Chicago during the middle of December, composers, directors, performing groups, music publishers and dealers come to see the newest and best in musical talent. An extremely limited number of top notch performing groups are invited to perform, with past guests including the United States Marine Corps Band and United States Army Jazz Ensemble. Various university, high school, and middle school groups go through a highly competitive application process to achieve the distinction of performing at The Midwest Clinic.
