The McClymonts are an Australian sister country music trio, comprising Brooke McClymont, Samantha McClymont, and Mollie McClymont The McClymonts were born Grafton, New South Wales. They spent their early part of their lives performing in country music talent quests, from Newcastle, New South Wales to far north Queensland.
Brooke is the oldest sister and signed her first record deal at the age seventeen. In 2002 she released two solo singles "I Can't Wait" and "I Don't Think, I Know" which both reached the top fifty on the ARIA Charts. She has also written tracks for Hilary Duff, Kate DeAraugo and Olivia Newton-John. Brooke has also performed supports for international artists such as The Dixie Chicks, Ronan Keating and American Country Music Star Gary Allen.
Samantha the middle sister has been on the Australian country music scene since winning 2006's Golden Guitar for Best New Talent and last year's Toyota Star Maker award and with her second single, "Heart of a Man" topping the Australian country music charts in early 2006. Youngest sister Mollie graduated from the Talent Development Program in 2004, and has been working on her songwriting for many years.
Their debut EP, The McClymonts was released on June 5, 2006 and peaked at number forty on the ARIA Charts.
