Seth wants to get Ryan and Marissa back together. Marissa has problems with her life with Alex. Seth and Summer convince Ryan and Marissa to go to the mall together to do some voluntary work. They get locked in the mall and decide to spend the night there. When security comes, they have to flee. They go to the diner, where Ryan and Marissa are having a good time eating fries while Seth and Summer talk in the car.

Kirsten and Julie are working on their new magazine, when Carter Buckley, the new editor, arrives. When the three of them have a drink together, Julie sees her old lover from twenty years ago, Lance, while Kirsten and Carter empty a bottle of wine. [edit] Quotes

Seth: (sees Sandy working under the kitchen sink) Oh, father, I'm glad to see you finally found your calling.

Caleb: Exactly what I said.

Sandy: Nothing like a good crack about a plumber.

Seth: Plumber. Crack. Funny.

Seth: Now that you and I are back together and now that Lindsay's out of the picture, who knows, maybe Ryan and Marissa might get it together.

Summer: Are you crazy? They're like the worst couple ever. Besides, Marissa is happy now.

Seth: And by happy you mean gay.
