The Magnificent Moodies was an album released in the UK, and the U.S. with another title, in 1966 which featured the Moody Blues' pre-psychedelic era lineup of guitarist Denny Laine, bassist Clint Warwick, keyboardist Mike Pinder, flute player/percussionist Ray Thomas, and drummer Graeme Edge. Laine and Warwick left the group in 1966, and were replaced by guitarist Justin Hayward and bassist John Lodge. The Magnificent Moodies is a collection of R&B based songs, including the hit cover of "Go Now". In 2006, it was released as CD with 7 new bonus tracks.
