The Lyrics Board

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Lyrics Board is an Irish game show, with local versions around the world. The Russian one is called Dva royalya ("Два рояля"), the Swedish one is called Så ska det låta (That's the way it should sound) and is one of the most popular tv-shows in Sweden, the Danish one is called Hit med sangen. From 2001 to 2006, the Polish TVP2 also produced a show based on The Lyrics Board license called Śpiewające fortepiany (Singing pianos) with slightly different rules, hosted by stage and TV personality Rudi Schubert [1]. The show was cancelled in spring 2006 and replaced by a similar one called Doobidoo [2]. There was also a short-lived version on BBC Wales titled The Lyrics Game.
