The Loyal Order of Moose in Great Britain

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Loyal Order of Moose came to the United Kingdom in 1926.

The Director-General James J. Davis founded the Grand Lodge at his birthplace of Tredegar in Wales. The aims are the same as the Loyal Order of Moose in the United States, which are to help the orphaned and the widowed. The organisation runs many fundraising programmes for various worthy causes. The British Headquarters of Moose International are to be found at Mooseheart in Winscombe, Somerset. There are over seventy lodges active throughout England and Wales. Details may be found on the Moose International website.
