A made-for-television sequel to the The Love Bug series which included a Dean Jones cameo, tying it to the previous films, starring Bruce Campbell. Although a sequel, it had the same name as the first in the series. Also, this movie introduced an evil black Herbie named Horace, "the hate bug."
