[edit] Trivia
- The episode title is a play on words to the 1971 film The Last Picture Show.
- The date that appears on the newspaper shown is the same date as when the episode aired, November 6, 2005. Ironically, the newspaper is "The Bay Mirror", the paper for which Phoebe works for, which seems to be the only (along with 415 Magazine), written media circulating.
- The Segway Scooters that the police officers are riding were withdrawn from the market in 2003 by Segway, and they are in fact banned from use in San Francisco where the series supposedly takes place.
- This is the third and the last time Scott Jaeck reprised his role as Sam. He previously appeared in the season two episode P3 H2O and the season five episode Sam I Am. Interestingly enough, Sam only seems to appear every three years and Paige makes a remark about that to her biological father.
- Orbs are heard during the end of the episode, which probably tells that J.D. has become a Whitelighter, like he was always meant to.
- This is the second time that Piper and Leo have had to "walk a mile in each other's shoes," the first being when a still-inside-Piper baby Wyatt switches their powers and Leo gets Piper's pregnancy aliments.
- Will Snow, The Lost World (TV series), makes a guest appearance as "Vaklav".
