[edit] Plot
Elaine reluctantly lets George attend a company party. George is horrified when he sees Elaine dance at the party, a dance which causes her staff to lose all respect for her. Elaine mistakenly attributes this lack of respect to George's presence at the party. She makes George off-limits to Anna, one of the women he talked to at the party, which gives George a "bad boy" image and makes him desirable to Anna. Elaine eventually finds out the truth about her dancing after she videotapes herself, footage that will eventually be sold as a part of the bootleg of Cry, Cry Again. Elaine apologizes to Anna and George, which suddenly makes him undesirable.
Jerry takes Kramer and his friend Brody to the premiere of Death Blow, and Brody videotapes the film to make a bootleg. Brody begins to make his bootleg tape, but he gets sick and has Kramer take him home, leaving Jerry to finish making the tape. Jerry worries about the implications when Brody likes his camera work and asks him to do another film. Brody won't meet Jerry's demands for equipment; George takes on the challenge to maintain his "bad boy" image, but gets arrested. Frank comes to bail him out and Elaine lets him know the truth about his son.
[edit] Trivia
- This episode marks the first appearance of The Little Kicks. It will reappear again in "The Slicer".
- It is revealed that while separated from Estelle, Frank Costanza purchased a 1968 Pontiac GTO (actually a 1967 model). George borrows it to impress Anna, however he did not clean out his father's stuff (an orthopedic back pillow, FiberCon pills).
- On Mystery Science Theater 3000 #1002, Crow T. Robot indirectly refers to this episode when, in response to a film character's bad dancing, he notes "She makes Elaine Benes look like a good dancer!"
