The film The Last Time I Committed Suicide (1997) is based on a letter written by Neal Cassady to Jack Kerouac. The film was directed by Stephen T. Kay and it starred Thomas Jane as Cassady. The cast also included Adrien Brody, Gretchen Mol, Claire Forlani and Keanu Reeves.
