The Landry News is a book by Andrew Clements first published in 1999 by Aladdin. It is about a fifth-grade girl named Cara Landry.

She writes an editorial about her teacher, Mr. Larson, who is simply too passive to teach. Mr. Larson soon returns to his old teaching ways. Cara, with the help of fellow classmates, makes a newspaper bearing the novel's title for a class project. What starts out as a simple class project turns into a First Amendment issue.
