The Kingdom is a 2007 Peter Berg movie starring Jennifer Garner, Jamie Foxx and Jason Bateman. The story follows an elite team of U.S. government agents, led by FBI Special Agent Ronald Fleury, who are sent to investigate the bombing of an American facility in the Middle East. It is reported that Robert DeNiro may have a cameo role in the picture. The film is slated to be released on April 20, 2007.

Filming commenced July 10, 2006, on the west side of the old Maricopa County Courthouse in Phoenix, Arizona. Additional scenes are being filmed concurrently in Mesa, Arizona.
Following filming on August 12, a crew member died when the utility vehicle (Gator 4x2) he was driving was hit by a sport utility vehicle used for filming on State Route 202, in Mesa. The utility vehicle was hit by an SUV carrying the director. Filming has now ended in the Mesa, AZ area.[1]
On September 10, filming was done at the Willard InterContinental Washington hotel, a hotel close to the White House and rich in political history.
On-location filming took place in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates for one week in mid-September.
