The John Fielding is the name of the Wetherspoon's free house in Cwmbran town centre. Until 2002 it had been known as The Moonraker and was run under the managerial maestro of Stephen Mackey and his family!

The pub is housed in a flat-roofed building constructed in the 1960's as part of the Cwmbran New Town project. It is named in honour of the Welsh soldier who fought in the Zulu wars and was from Cwmbran.
