The JJ Boys was the earliest rap group of Joseph Bruce and Joseph Utsler, who would become the Insane Clown Posse years later. Joseph Utsler (as Kangol Joe), John Utsler (Master J), and Joseph Bruce (as Jagged Joe) formed the trio in 1986, when they were in their early teens, and released a pair of singles. The JJ Boys singles were called "Party at the Top of the Hill" and "Southwest Song" which was later rerecorded and possible remade for their album The Ringmaster. They later renamed themselves Inner City Posse in 1989 After the gang which they were in at the time. After they renamed themselves, they made two CD's. They were called Bass-ment Cuts and Dog Beats.
