The Island of Doctor Freud is an episode of Time Squad, and is glued back-to-back with Daddio Da Vinci in a half-hour block.

The episode begins with the Time Squad visiting Austria to help deal with Sigmund Freud, who has run amuck of documented history. The Doctor is hypnotizing people to treat their various mental problems, and Vienna is overrun with people who think they are animals. It is the job of Time Squad to convince Freud to take up the practice of dream therapy.

Things got tricky especially after Tuddrussel was hypnotized into thinking he was a chicken. He was flapping his arms around, laying eggs, and even ended up in a cock fight with another guy who was hypnotized into being a chicken. The townspeople had enough of Freud's antics and organized a mob against the guy. Freud called upon the 'animals' and rallied them to stop the mob. In the end, Tuddrussel managed to tell Freud that he hated being a chicken and so Freud turned everyone back to normal. Then, Larry told Freud about his weird dream and Otto managed to convince him to go into dream therapy.

This episode is an interesting rarity in the series, in that it is actually quite possible: it uses no anachronisms (besides the Time Squad itself) and is quite possible that this is the only episode in the series (minus, perhaps, the one featuring Copernicus) whose historical figure is not seriously out of character. Freud, in fact, really did tinker with hypnosis, although not to the outlandish extent shown here. It could be possible for the anachronism is really just "what would have happened if he followed hypnosis closer than true therapy."
