The Invasion (originally titled Invasion, then changed to The Visiting before being changed once more to The Invasion) is a 2007 film currently in post-production starring Nicole Kidman and Daniel Craig. It is directed by Oliver Hirschbiegel. Filming took place in Washington, D.C., USA, during Fall 2005, with some scenes also filmed in Baltimore. It will not be released, however, until November 2, 2007[1]. The film began as a remake of Invasion of the Body Snatchers, but deviated considerably from the original storyline and is now thought of as an original script.
The ending is being reshot in October 2006.

The Invasion tells the story of a mysterious epidemic that alters the behavior of human beings. When a Washington D.C. psychiatrist (Nicole Kidman) discovers the epidemic's origins are extraterrestrial, she must fight to protect her son, who may hold the key to stopping an imminent invasion.
