The International Federation of Film Archives

The International Federation of Film Archives (FIAF) was founded in Paris in 1938. The Federation brings together motion picture archives from across the world whose purpose it is to ensure the preservation of films as a cultural heritage and as historical documents. It has grown from 4 members to over 120 archival groups in over 65 countries.
