The Hidden History of Zionism is a book by Far Left activist Ralph Schoenman, published in 1988 by the Veritas Press, Santa Barbara. It seeks to dispel what it characterizes as four myths about Israel:

  1. Israel was 'a land without a people for a people without a land.'
  2. Israel is a democracy.
  3. 'security' has been the driving force of Israeli foreign policy.
  4. Zionism is the moral legatee of the victims of the Holocaust.

The book asserts that Zionism colluded with Nazism from its inception and compares its democracy with the apartheid of South Africa.[citation needed] It also claims that Israel is involved in state-sponsored terrorism.[1]
