The Hahn Company

The Hahn Company, San Diego, California, alternately known as Ernest M. Hahn, Inc., was a major shopping center owner. It is defunct.
In 1980 Trizec Corp., Toronto, Canada, acquired the shopping center interests of developer Ernest M. Hahn, who had developed many leading major shopping center, especially in California. The company was eventually renamed TrizecHahn, and in 1998 exited the shopping center business, with the majority of its centers being acquired by Westfield America, Inc. (precursor to The Westfield Group) and The Rouse Company (now part of General Growth Properties).
