"The Goonies 'R' Good Enough" was a single released by singer Cyndi Lauper. It was from the 1985 film The Goonies. The song reached #5 in Canada, #8 in Australia, #10 in the United States, #11 in Casey's Top 40 Radio & Records, #16 in Chile, #22 in New Zealand, #24 in Italy, #25 Cash Box Top 100 Singles and #49 in Germany.
There was also a two part video shot for this song featuring pro-wrestlers, Steven Spielberg, and part of The Goonies cast. The single's B-side was "What a Thrill", which got her nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Rock Vocal Performance - Female in 1986.
The song is also considered a rarity among Lauper fans since it has never appeared on any album. It was however included in her compilation album.
It was covered by New Found Glory in 2000.
