The Good Doctor (play)

Neil Simon's The Good Doctor (premiered: Eugene O'Neill Theatre, New York City, November 27, 1973; first published: Random House, 1974) is a play composed of a series of scenes in which the only connecting thread is the character of the Writer originally played by Christopher Plummer, a curious amalgamation of Simon himself and Anton Chekhov. Written in the style of Chekhovian comedy, this play was how he met his first wife, Marsha.

The Good Doctor is set in Russia during the 19th century. It is sure to get laughs!
