The Golden Quadrilateral

The Golden Quadrilateral Project was launched under the rule of Sri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, former prime minister of India. This project will connect the four metropolis of India, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai and Mumbai through super highways. The NH-2 (National Highway 2) or the Grand Trunk Road that connects Delhi to Kolkata is undergoing a massive revamping under this project.
