The Golden Coach (French: Le Carrosse d'or, Italian: La carrozza d'oro) is a 1953 film directed by Jean Renoir from a screenplay by the director, Jack Kirkland, Renzo Avanzo and Giulio Macchi and based on the play, Le Carrosse du Saint-Sacrement by Prosper Mérimée. It stars Anna Magnani, Odoardo Spadaro and Duncan Lamont. It was filmed at Cinecittà in Rome and premiered in Paris in February 1953.
The film's music consists entirely of compositions and musical arrangements from Antonio Vivaldi.
The film was made in three versions, English, French and Italian.
