"The Ghost of Tom Joad" by American rap/rock group Rage Against the Machine is a cover of the title track of the Bruce Springsteen album of the same name. The title refers fo the protagonist of the John Steinbeck novel The Grapes of Wrath, Tom Joad. It also takes inspiration from "The Ballad of Tom Joad" by Woody Guthrie.
