The German Alleluhia
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The German Alleluhia is a German hymn that was originally created by Christians during World War II. It features simple harmonies and repetitive rhythms. The most notable attribute of this hymn is that it did not have any consistent lyrics, instead, the aim of the hymn was to communicate a personal message to god. Although each person sung the same melody line, the lyrics were improvised by each individual.
