From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Genesis Flood: The Biblical Record and its Scientific Implications (ISBN 0-87552-338-2) is a 1961 book by the young earth creationists John C. Whitcomb and Henry M. Morris. The authors propose that there is a scientific basis for Creationism as told in the Biblical book of Genesis. The book is seen as one of the most important in the history of creationism as it popularized the ideas of flood geology. The mainstream scientific community rejects flood geology as pseudoscience without any factual basis.

The book's sequel is called The World that Perished.
