[edit] Synopsis
At the beginning of the episode, Beavis and Butt-Head are seeing a career counselor, who attempts to give them suggestions for possible careers. He begins by discussing with the duo what sort of jobs they would like to have, and as Butt-Head mentions he likes to watch videos, presumably referring to music videos, the counselor suggests running a video store. Butt-Head automatically begins to fantasize about running an adult video store, concluding that it would be "cool". After this, he asks Beavis what duties he enjoys at his job at Burger World, to which Butt-Head replies that he likes "all his duties". The counselor fails to acknowledge the meaning the duo have found, and believes that he is making progress until he comments that Beavis might consider a job he can "really sink his teeth into". The duo are disgusted by the unintended implications.
The counselor then suggests a career in construction or otherwise operating large machinery. At this point, Beavis begins to fantasize about demolishing Highland High using a wrecking ball. Seeing his fantasy, the counselor recommends moving on. He then suggests the possibility of working in sales, leaving Butt-Head contemplating selling beer on infomercials. After this, Beavis requests if there is a career involving staying at home, to which he replies in the negative. Becoming increasingly desperate, he suggests a career in the military, to which Beavis again fantasizes as being a general, leading to him becoming hyperactive. Seeing this as a warning, he quickly talks Beavis out of the idea.
Finally, Butt-Head openly concludes that "careers suck", citing the lever of work required. The duo leave, and the career counselor gives up trying to reach them. On their way out, Beavis and Butt-Head also resolve to quit their jobs at Burger World.
