The Funco File is a 1969 novel by Burt Cole. The summary on the back of the paperback edition reads as follows:
"Rolf is a hillbilly boy who call up poltergeists. Dejeela-Lal is a stunningly beautiful temple prostitute who performs enthusiastically, while levitating. Mr. Kleiber is a middle-aged accountant who writes indelible blue fire in the air with the tip of his nose. Rome Burns is an AWOL soldier, conditioned to kill by reflex action anyone who comes within four feet of him for any purpose whatever. This makes him invaluable to the group's probably suicidal assault on The Machine that controls the lives of a whole nation of people. It makes things difficult between him and Dejeela-Lal, though..."
